2 out of 5 stars Game doesnt sping like BoloToss yard game   August 29, 2010
David White (Springfield, MO USA)
We have the BoloToss game and it spins. We have friends that have this set and it is boring to play. For a challenge, try BoloToss's game. We got ours online at [...].

5 out of 5 stars Love this product!   August 21, 2010
Audrey C. Williams (Rehrersburg, Pa)
My husband and I play ladderball 3 or 4 nights a week, we just love it. My grandsons play every time they are here too; and they're here 1 or 2 days every week. We were hooked on horseshoes, but, ladderball is more fun. would highly recommend it!

1 out of 5 stars I would not recommend this product or seller   August 17, 2010
debra kunkel
I am very disatisfied with this product and seller. It arrived in the box with the small parts not in separate plastic bags, there were parts missing but this was not immediately obvious until trying to put the game together. I tried to order the missing parts but they were out of stock making it impossible to play the game. I would not order from this seller and would not recommend them.

4 out of 5 stars Nice game   August 6, 2010
A. S. Johnson (Anchorage, AK)
I got this game because I saw some people in the neighborhood who had it and seemed to be having a good time with it. It did not disappoint. It was relatively easy to put together, even with the help of my five year old. It was intuitive to play, and engaging. I only gave it 4 stars because it's probably on the same level as croquet or horse shoes, so there are other things that could entertain as reasonably. It's a little different though, and if that's what you're looking for, it's a good choice.

5 out of 5 stars Ladder Ball is a good value for summer family fun   July 26, 2010
Jared Castle (Roseburg, Oregon United States)
My sons (ages 7 and 6) took to this lawn game immediately. Easy to assemble and even easier to learn to play, Ladder Ball is good choice whether your planning a backyard picnic or looking for a family game on your camping trip.

Now, I don't recommend this game for children younger than five or children who simply can't behave without a parent being present. The bolos are made of hard plastic and could put a real knot on a child's head. I had to remind my sons not to run out in front of each other when they finished their turn. They were excited at first but quickly settled down to allow all six bolos to fly before starting to retrieve them.

Despite what you read from other reviews, the set is sturdy enough to handle the flying bolos and some awkward unwinding but isn't strong enough to support a child's weight, so don't let your kids lean on the posts. The PVC pipe isn't industrial grade but we're not installing a sprinkler system here. We're playing Ladder Ball. If you and your children treat the game with respect, it should last several summers and that's a great value for a lawn game that costs less than $30!

The only suggestion I have for the production company is to develop a version with glow in the dark materials for the ladders and bolos. That would make the game even more challenging on a warm summer night.

Rating: 5 stars.
