We used the wag bags with the luggable loo. They were great! we used one bag for several days before changing because the chemicals inside the bag kept it from smelling. I will use these every time we go camping! My only gripe is that they are so very very expensive!!!

The gel solidifies liquids--it's amazing.
The gel and bagging system DOES NOT prevent odors--even when placed in a heavy duty trash bag and twist-tied.
Irregardless, I use the bags BUT I put them in a OPSAK Odor Proof Barrier Bag (available from Amazon) which is in an ammo can to protect it from punctures or opening. That works great!!! No odor escapes from this combination..
When I get home from a camping trip, I remove the WAG bags from the OPSAK Odor Proof bag, discard the WAG bags, and let the OPSAK air out in the sun for a couple of days and then reuse it on the next camping trip.

This is an excellent solution to the "Gee, it's 3:00am and so doggone far to the outhouse, camp toilet center, etc"
We used it over the 4th of July holiday with 7 adults and 3 children, and what a wonderful thing to have.
There are 2 bags. The 1st bag fits over the portable toilet and collects the waste. It has gel powder in it that solidifys(?) the urine. (Could use more powder in bag.) The 2nd outside bag is smaller and zips shut. Put 1st bag in 2nd bag when its time for a change. [It can then be disposed of in regular trash.]
1st bag shuld be closed tightly. DO NOT ALLOW THE 1ST BAG TO GET TOO FULL. LESS IS BETTER THAN MORE! I learned that lesson the hard way.
REGARDLESS, IT IS WORTH IT'S WEIGHT IN (LIQUID) GOLD! sic...
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT, BUT ALSO RECOMMEND THESE CHANGES...
It could use more gel powder & have a larger outside bag. Something to seal the 1st bag shut with, and finally markings on inner part of waste bag to tell you when it is time to stop and change!!!
(We did fine until the last day when too many people used it without changing the bag. As I had doody duty, IT WAS NOT A FUN THING FOR ME

These Wag Bags work just fine. I wrote a review on the PETT toilet that descibes the use. I recommend baby wipes or your own toilet paper. The stuff that's included is cheap, and not really much to work with.
When finished, the inner bag fits nicely into the zip bag. There's enough plastic that you won't need to worry about touching the doody. Zips up as an inconspicuous little plastic bag. Just toss it in the trash and go.
