Exactly what I needed it to be! February 7, 2010 Michele L. McNish I bought this disc golf goal for a fanatic - my brother - as a Christmas present. He absolutely loves it! It was easy to set up, sturdy, and he likes the discs that came with them. I would recommend this item for anyone who loves disc golf.
AWESOME!!! February 1, 2010 SAP I purchased this as a gift for my boyfriend. He LOVES IT! Easy to put together (no tools needed), and it is very sturdy!! Would buy another one!! : )
Buy this one... December 28, 2009 Consistent Mama (Oxford, Michigan USA) This disc goal is fantastic. Well built, sturdy, and super fun! I was worried that it would be made with cheap material, but it is great.
Great Goal for the Price! December 7, 2009 J. Faircloth (TX United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I own about 3 acres and was looking to setup a practice course in my back yard. I spend a few weeks researching the baskets on the market and how much time and money I would invest building my own. I finally settled on the "Pacific Outdoors / Instep Goal" because it looked to be a great value for the price (I caught them on sale for $80ea + free shipping).
I had the opportunity to see the Innova Skillshot in person and was not impressed with it. It folds up like an umbrella for easy portability, but is tiny and looks cheaply made. I also looked at the Halex but the pictures didn't make it appear to be as sturdy or as easy to mount permanently at a later date. The Innova DISCatcher and DGA M-14 both appear to be made out of heavier material (from the pictures) and they may be better for a more public course, but at almost twice the price it wasn't worth for me to find out.
I purchased 3 goals and so far I am very happy with them. Assembly was quick and easy, they are very stable and the quality is good. Many reviews have mentioned adding a second set of chains (which would be very easy) but I haven't noticed a big problem with them. I will probably be purchasing the same goal when I expand my course.
Best bang for the buck December 2, 2009 Fuhr Forehand (W. Kentucky) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Before I ordered this basket, I had the opportunity to view one up close. A local sporting goods store had both an In-Step and a competior's basket that was more than twice the price. While the better known brand basket did look a little more solid and had a few more chains, I did not feel that it was superior to the point where it justified its price. I was impressed enough with the In-Step to go ahead and order from Amazon. The shipping was fast and I was very impressed with the quality of the basket. Set up was a breeze. The basket does an admirable job of catching discs and helps the user to focus on throwing flat putts instead of hyzer putts(this is a good thing--especially in the wind)which are more likely to blow through. I plan on storing the basket in a work shop when not in use so weathering will not be an issue for me. Overall I am very pleased with the basket as it gives me a decent target to help improve my putting game without breaking the bank. Buy an In-step and use the money you save to buy a bag full of putters to practice with!
