I'm not actually writing this to review it. The DVD seems fine, the workouts are pretty challenging, but I want to warn people to NOT, I repeat, do NOT order this from the crunchless abs website. I was harrassed with phone calls at all hours of the day after ordering this because they wanted to sign me up for their budget savers program. Well, they said they would send me information in the mail within 30 days to opt out of the program, and I just got it last week, which happens to have been over the 30 day limit. I had called their phone number before the information came anyway, and I was refunded the $1 they automatically (and illegally, I might add) charged me to sign me up for something I didn't want, but I opened my credit card statement today and found an unauthorized charge on it. Apparently, I didn't opt out afterall, and they decided they would keep sending me DVDs I didn't order. I called my bank, and I'll have to wait until the business week starts again for them to follow up on the unauthorized $26.98. Weird, even though their customer service can call ME at 11:00 p.m., I can't call them after 2:30 p.m. . . . So, anyway, I'll have to wait until tomorrow to try to cancel this and future orders that I never asked for. If you think you want this program (like I said, the DVD itself seems okay), do NOT order it from them. Order it from here - at least you know you can trust Amazon. I've learned my lesson . . .

Well, for some background information...I am pretty fit but needed a little extra toning in my abdominal area. I decided to try this video after watching the infomercial. I found out that to get the best results from this you have to perform almost impossible moves to even do the exercise. If you have bad knees or ankles forget it. I went back to my crunches and situps and worked extra hard doing planks as well and found my abs firming right up. Save your money.

Excellent anatomically for building functional strength. Cueing is decent. I would not suggest this for beginners, you need some knowledge and workout experience in order to do this properly.

Two new fitness DVDs hosted by registered nurse and athletic trainer Linda LaRue help serious belly flatteners strengthen their core muscles, burn midsection fat and increase back strength. Both are divided into three ten-minute segments, one for standing exercises, one for seated exercises, and one for floor exercises. "Crunchless Abs: Progressive Core Training" (38 min.) walks the viewer through each easy-to-follow workout, targeting abdominal muscles for a great foundation to improved fitness. "Crunchless Abs: 3-Dimensional Core Training" (33 min.) uses a simple weighted gel bal (an inexpensive floor mat is also recommended) and features movements designed to three-dimensionally sculpt one's abdomen. Both DVDs are a worthy supplement to fitness libraries, and enthusiastically recommended to anyone interested in improving their back and midsection.

Rating - Poor. Also, somehow I became enrolled in a regular shipment plan so I had to return the next shipment at my own expense!
